Not a chance! ;)
I only ask cos we buy air dried hardwood in Frogland cos our logburner is a fancy one that should only burn this stuff. It does chuck out tons of heat for very little wood.
We pay €50 for a stere (cubic metre) of metre lengths which I then cut down to make it easier to burn. So how does that compare?
Everyone round our way does the same thing and we usually have quite big log stores, often outside in a frame with corrugated iron roofs. I just put ours on a pallet, quite loosely stacked under a tarp.
But Soooo many peeps have log burners. They are much cheaper than in the UK. And peeps often have them piped all over the house with big 6" ducts.
