It certainly looks like a Record but has no makers mark or number. It says 'Made in England' so perhaps a 1970's clone? It is not any earlier as the lead screw if flat ended and not forged round like my Record #84.Is that a record type? I've gottid a 23.

The original pic was put there after Stan alluded to the vice squad........ after 40 years of working in engineering, I have forgotten most of what I knowI know he knows but e left himself openand. Am sure he has forgot more than I could write what I know about that sort of stuff
