@Hippo
New, betterment quality switch then? :)
Yep. I took oft a switched fused spur and will fit a dual pole unswitched socket instead. At the moment it has a switched socket as a temp fit. Rules dun't allow yer to use one of them. Tis betterer for me to fit an unswitched socket instead of a fused spur as yer can put a plug on yer boiler and pull the plug oat the socket to isolate. Also plug it into an eggstension caybul fer testin if there's a fault wiv yer socket int future. If I'm norrabout then it's easier for someone else to pull the plug oat to isolate if needed. If using a switched spur there's always a chance the switch could fail to switch oft if broke.

Eye stood the doors up so they were resting on their wheels and bits of wood to level them. Then messed about with different bits of wood to make them join int middle top and bottom. After messing around ferrabit I remembered me garage learns to one side which is why the floor was out and the doors wouldn’t mate up when plumb vertical. So I angled the doors to match. Had to chisel some of the floor away wiv me sds drill as some of the bricks stuck up a bit, catching the bottom of the doors when they close.

Yer probably wondering where the posts are. A normal peep would hang the doors on the posts. Me doors is quite heavy and am doing this on me own so I lined me posts up to the doors, fixed them to me garage, then fitted the hooks in the bands and fixed them to the posts. Saves me having to lift me doors onto the hooks. Also makes it a lot easier to know where the doors will sit. Right hand side post fitted:

Both posts fitted. Doors are 10 or 15 mm oft the ground. Ground slopes away a bit so they is higher oft the ground when they open. Posts were set a bit higher up than the doors to stop the bottoms rotting if they were sat in water. Doors are near enough level in the middle.

Pic of the inside. Green ropes were used to pull me doors towards me garage so they din’t fall down when eye was working. Eye is very happy with how it went. Finished late that night.

Had to put a slight angle on the left hand door edge where it closes against the other door as it was catching. Also had to shave some more wood oft the bottom left door closing edge as the gap is a bit smaller down there, to stop it catching again.
