Im err noo :)

Went to the workshop & was doing mortice n tenon's for the Siberian larch gates, I had to turn
my diesel heater off I was sweating o_O My mate went to the decking job to some landscaping.
he lost the coin toss "again" haha says he's never betting at anything again as ive won 6 in a row.:D:D
Well you always are a lucky cunt!
My bruv used to do that with me, so I stopped tossing coins with him too!

I may have to do just that. Today the drive belt stripped 30% of its teeth and the thing is totally unusable. This is with <3 hours of "run-time".
I cannot even do simple jobs with it to "fix" the simplest problems these budget machines all have.
I'd be tearing my feckin hair out, or, alternatively, having given em a week to repair or replace, going throught the Small claims Track.
This sort of stuff really lights my fires.
Do really feel for you mate.

The last time I raised a case with PP I bought an outboard engine just serviced & working
condition.Arrived on a pallet it had new plugs done a compression test & it was low on
the top cylinder almost half what it should have been, stuck a bore scope to check the cylinder
the rings were fooked. Seller said tuff sh!t its sold now & rejected the refund.
Straight to PP raised a case they sent me labels to post it back & advised me to take it to the
local post office counter o_O
Called them an explained that it needed a pallet delivery to send
it back, they said no chance they would pay for that. I got a full refund within 24 hours & told
me to scrap the item. I kept it for a month & gave the nob every chance to come an pick it up.
I was really hoping he was brave enough. No show surprize/surprize.
Stuck it on ebay for spares or repair & got 600 quid for it. :D:D
Fallen in a puddle again then didn cher!:)

Yeah, I guessed that from your other "Brexit. So what’s actually changed for me?" post ;)
That's only part of it.
We started on the utility room today.
Wifey cleared out the cupboard under the sink (it's a galley shaped room, white goods and sink one side.)
Having taken all the tiles off a few days ago, I was on the point of ripping the cupboard and worktop out. But it was too late to get stuck in so I just decided to remeasure, "measure twice, cut once" etc, while wifey was making the chicken pie.
To my horror I realised the new work top, which had come with the rest of the tops for the kitchen, was 60 cms not 70 cms. The existing one is 70, whereas the rest of the kitchen is 60.
So had a bit of a think and worked out I could prolly get the white goods to go back right under it, just.
Then i realised that the floor tiles had been laid up to the cupboards and I therefore couldn't go any further down that line.
These worktops were all delivered about 2 years ago.
Cutting the top of a finger, breaking a thumb a year after that, spending half our time in frogland and the kitchen install being a right pain, meant I put the utility off all this time.
So I have no idea if the company that measured up, supplied and fitted the worktops in the kitchen, and also supplied the other one for the ute, will be interested in admitting their mistake. I have looked at the legalities on line and it isn't completely clear.
So I will have to phone them tomorrow and see what they say.

Then I started on the visa thing!
Not a happy bunny.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

You may have chosen the wrong month to give up drinking.

I'm sure it is bloody character forming.:):):)
To encourage me I had a bath this morning, first one for years, I normally have showers, but my back is being stiff and achy.
I could barely wash my old feller, sitting in the bath, as I had to get around my gut!
So also went a long walk with the liveliest dog. Boy were my knees aching after that. I am so unfit.:(
It has crept up on me over the last 12 years, when I think how hard and fast I worked doing the fitting out of the place in France and only doing it in the holidays too. Where did I get the energy from?
So big fitness drive on.:mad::mad:
