Morning All :D
Reprieved from paper collection duties as herself is out this morning doing stuff. :)
Cats fed etc. etc.
This coffee is tasting fine and the bacon & egg will be started soon.:D
Got a bit of an MOT on myself this afternoon up at the hospital (ultrasound scan of "Thumper" to see if he has grown any larger and whether I need surgery "soonest") - I hope not.
The repaired ceiling is all dried up and seems blended in quite well. I shall slap some paint on it sharpish.
Have a great day everyone. :D
Best of luck mate.
Well done for the ceiling. Fixed the old bar light thing?
I took ours and shoved it over the work-bench in the garage, three spots that can be pointed all over the place, very useful. So hope you get the circuitry sorted!:):):)

Back from the interview, which I must say was the most miserable interview experience I've ever had.
Three of them just sat opposite me with stone dead faces reading questions from sheets of paper. There was no friendly chat or anything...
How bloody strange! Looks like yet another hidden agenda, going thru the motions as they already have someone lined up, maybe a friend of the charity bosses.
Just goes to show charities are no different to any other organisation.
When will you hear?
And would you care if you didn't get it?
Best of luck in any case.

They never said when they'd let me know but I'm not sure I'd want the job even if they offer it to me after the experience this morning.

That NHS we have all been applauding?
Effing-Shambles! A follow-up appointment for an ultrasound scan to check on Thumper (my aortic aneurysm) booked by them (not me) back in July for today.
Go all the way there (as requested, and having been reminded that "wasted appointments cost the NHS £160"), only to be told "Sorry these appointments have all been cancelled hasn't anybody contacted you?"
FFS would I be here if they had?
It is stressful enough having a ticking time bomb in your guts, but getting ****ed about is just insulting. /rant.

Yes I've had an instance of NHS communication breakdown recently as well. Front line staff aside my experiences of the administration of it over the years as been far from stellar to put it politely
