I wish, only a 2 day week. Can you have a quiet word with M please:) I have a list that never seems to get any smaller, Back to more wood butchering tomorrow if rain don't stop play.

I don't know where I found the time to work :D

I very nearly quit today :) I shall join the retired next year and that helped me keep quiet!
M - please let J have a day off

Must admit, a lot of the time in my last two years I was hanging on like grim death. If it hadn't been for the good bits of the job I may well have caved. Actuarial reduction on the pension or not! So sympathies and well done for gritting the teeth and not quitting. :):):)

The trouble is I worked out I can survive for a couple of years without working and by that time we will have sold up and moved........ very tempting :)

So it looks like sheer bloody mindedness keeping you there then! Like me, tight Yorkshire git as I am. But with Covid I might have rethought it. Do you feel safe working where you are?
Safe enough, I work from home and after todays meeting, no chance of me returning to the office this year. That also helped me to walk away from the situation!

Not particularly. Day before was harder. Its pitch black here now 18:15.

18.15? Here it's 16:40! Don't get that at all!!!!! (posted 26 minutes ago, duhhh!)
Anyway, still dusk.
Thought the ring around the moon signified a hard frost, but then maybe not.
Ice crystals in the atmos apparently,

Did edit to reflect my "duhh" maybe you didn't see it. Time passes so fast on here, when popping between threads I often think someone has posted really soon after, or just shortly before, me, which is where 25 minutes can just disappear!
In France we were one hour ahead, thought the whole EU was on basically what used to be German time, but makes sense for Bulgaria to be even further ahead.
Despite self-taught maths A level, as I think you know, I was a French teacher. Taught lots of other stuff and in recent times would have been nearly as qualified as many Maths teachers as they are so hard to find! Who with a Maths degree wants to be one?

Eye be takin moneytree advice frompt steven. It will go ont me morgig.
Best thing to do with any windfall!
Good advice is not to be sniffed at, although does happen, especially between parents and children,. (Our middle-daughter's husband is getting compo for a botched hip op. They have a big mortgage which they struggle to pay, but it took a huge effort to persuade them to pay at least some of it off. Heard last week that they finally have decided to do just that. Big "phew".;))
