So, the Trumpkin was diagnosed (allegedly) wif walrus a week ago.
A fat old man (and all three is relevant) has returned unscathed to his doodies this week good as new, if not better. 'Don't be afraid', clearly 200k of your compatriots were mistaken.. But still dead.

Somebody has left a kipper behind the radiator, you might think there was an election coming up o_Oand

Ah well, Fridi tomorrow, fukkit

Morning All :D
Paper's got, coffee's hot.:)
Kiddy from 11:30 & 2:30 until whenever their Mum turns up.:(
I have some other things I can get on with today.
2 new cupboards to be made and put up for the utility room, take the rads off in the upstairs rooms with the new windows so we can decorate etc.
The window fun resumes next week. :D

Today's "New Window" fitting has been a mixed-bag.
The manufacturer made a mistake and supplied the wrong size of corner posts, and not enough sealing strips for the glazing.
The window-fitters have gone "off-piste" and fitted a hideously large Ali windowsill to my small casement window which has a tiled sill.:(
I only discovered this after they had left for the day, called their office and said they would need to remove the hideous monstrosity, office agreed its the wrong sill/trim for a casement with tiled sloped window-sill's.
They will be back tomorrow to "finish" fitting what they have, and then revisit in 10 days when the correct sized corner-posts appear. :)
Despite these disappointing elements the overall effect of the new windows is pleasant and quite dramatic.
Picture below show the new bay window on the upstairs in contrast to the old UPVC on the downstairs bay.

Getting there then, slowly!
Nice!:):):)

I did ask him how much he wanted for it, its the other half of a Victorian semi so together it would be quite a property... I can dream...
They apparently have a saying in Holland, according to our Dutch friends, "If you can buy next door, do so!".
Mind you have you seen the sort of houses they live in?
Do know a guy not far from here who bought two building plots on an estate and only built on one of them!

He's OK I suppose but he's in for a shock when I leave unless he starts paying more attention to what I'm telling him
For a short period I was once an IT trainer, and discovered there were various sorts of pupil. some listened and took notes, others just listened and learned fu ck all, and some just said "I'll be fine" banged away on the keys in front of me, and then ff ed off, never having learned a thing!
Which sort is he?
Or is there another sort?
