Mornin' all. It's just becoming light and I can't say I am impressed with what it is like out there.
Of course, it 'asn't stopped the little un from going out to resume 'is kip under the stars. I do hope the weather picks up even if it is only for the sake of all those people who are on holiday but, wherever you be, enjoy your Friday.

Arranged a trip to the tip today to empty the motor.covid rules means you arrive early . This means more relaxation in the cab watching idiots at work.
Not enjoying the rain. I have a horse box to move later into a field(without it sinking)

I envy you having a tip to go to! They closed our local one about four years ago and now it is a fifty mile round trip to go to the nearest one where you are met by a 'little hitler' who seems to enjoy being as nasty as a human can be. It is no wonder people fly tip.

Yep we are lucky.most have closed but this one realised you can make a bit of money from waste. Cardboard,paper, even green waste (which they turn into compost to sell on). I’m getting rid of a load of old concrete. Not a skip full but the back of the landy knows there is weight in it. It’s pre booking only at the moment but as I’m classed as a van they say I’m commercial. But bonus is the queue for the vans takes 20mins compared to the cars of 1hour wait.

Not a bad day here, but overnight the wind has felled one of the garden wind-sculptures and snapped its main "stalk"
While my back is still sore (disc bulge), I am going to risk a cheeky gentle-gym session later.
The kitchen fit out is all finished and the worktops were installed yesterday by a pro. I have to say it all looks very posh.

I got woken up by a mouse in the trap so evicted it half a mile away we seam to have
loads this year. The cat next door eats them an I mean the whole lot.
Seen him a few times with tail sticking out his mouth lol
Not much going on today got another time waster coming to look at an outboard later on.
I'll be messing about with my trailer today but found a nato hitch (in bits)in the box of spares
Looks like its missing the 2 locking pins.

DD I do sympathise. So often you post about the difficulties of living in such a cut-off area. Shopping at the Coop etc. Seems as if you might as well be living on an island off the west coast of Scottyland! I do hope the isolation has its benefits, that make up for all this.I envy you having a tip to go to! Anyway morning all. Had a last swim yesterday as weather is going to be cr@p for a few days, rain will fill up the pool and drop its temerature
Lazy get up and off to buy a bit more wine and some olive oyl this affo. Hour's drive either way.

Sorry to hear about the wind thingy!
I refrained from anything "Back-Straining" and did upper body work and some recumbent bike. Beat Monday's personal-best, so that's good.
