Enjoy yer day folks.:)

Well wifey has woken up with her cold much worsen yesterday so not eatin. As usual.
So I'll get myself some lunch then we'll be orf to do all we shoulda been doing yesterday!
Rained like heck during the night so not sweating for once!
Forecast good for where we are going.
Crossed fingers!:)

I'm also buying a car for the doris on Wednesday. 20 plate yaris with 11 miles on the clock for just over 11k.
There are some good buys out there at the mo with the car retail sector in dire straits, shortage of customers, cancelled fleet orders, huge stockyards full of cars etc. Off to look at another one for the sis in law at the main dealer where we got ours on Monday, another Corsa 18 reg just under 2 yrs old and 16 miles on the clock and under £9k. Don't know where its been for 2 years  but its a goodun.

I am back from "Hell House".
Little has changed, they seem unable/unwilling to do any clearing up/cleaning up.
The brand-new flooring is all dirty and gritty underfoot. :(
4 new windows went in today.
All of the cold-side of the bathroom plumbing has been livened up and tested for leaks (with the exception of the sink taps and the toilet cistern which are capped off awaiting fitting of those items).
Bath waste has been tested, all other wastes completed into stack, but not connected to sources/appliances.
I think we will switch to the kitchen tomorrow and get a sink, washer, tumble-dryer and the cupboards all in and fixed in place.
Feels like we are swimming in a sea of treacle, progress is so slow. :(

Well groudhog day was OK.
Wifey now looks like a little French wifey with her new hairdo. She's happy, so great relief to me.
The jazz was OK. The players all looked sensible, no stupid hats, tats, or ratstail haircuts.
Music was 1950s style and therefore most bearable.
Good individual instrumentalists.
And any wimmins in the audience were slippin off their chairs looking at the lad in his early 20s playing keyboards. He actually looked a decent kid, could play like a wizz, and was sickeningly good looking without seeming to know it.
Made me wish i was in my twenties again!;):)
So groundhog day was a success:)
