If it's any consolation, I left home for the daily dog trip wearing waterproofs. 5 miles down the 'ills and it was a very, very different day! I was overdressed to say the least - me dressed for winter cold and everyone else in summer gear!! Some poor farmer's wife must 'ave copped it 'ere for sure.Lucky you. The farmers around here were out at midnight sacrificing the only 2 remaining virgins in the county and have managed to conjure up an entire day of rain
I mean, just who do they think they are????
Nevermind, we are burning a farmer's wife tonight - that'll get the hot weather back!

I managed OUT, 3 laps of the island, and HOME again (25 miles).
All W/O any e-assist so the legs are getting better from a strength perspective.

I left home at about 10:10 and got back at about 13:40. Loads of people out on the promenades enjoying the sunshine so stop-start in a lot of sections and in any event my max speed on the flat is about 10MPH.
