I have finished the woodworking area of my workshop :)
Looks like the standard home workshop - designer crafted (as they say) from the kitchen you removed when refitting the kitchen, and with a plank plonked on top. I built mine using a pair of low filing cabinets and built drawers in a plywood top for the work table. Shelves above from recycled brackets and scaffold planks. And a recycled wireless for entertainment (but no room for a chair).

Looks as if we are in for a warm and sunny day. The main thing is the wind has gone! Everything seems quiet out there and the woodpeckers are rapidly devouring the peanuts. They seem to have a good grasp of social distancing as they form orderly queues for their turns - but there is always one! He just jumps the queue and makes everyone scatter. Meanwhile my dogs slumber on - one in one out.
Enjoy your bank holiday if you are back at work and for those for whom this day is the same as every other, I hope you find something interesting to do.:)

Morning All :D
Looks like it will be a nice day today. :)
Grandson's 8th birthday today. Will pop round for a "through the window" wave at him and delivery of his presents.
I might be allowed to get a trike-ride in later in the day. We shall see.
I still don't see (M)any birds at my feeders. :( Maybe I need to move them to elsewhere.
Have a great day everyone. :)

It can tayk er week fer them ter get ter know a nu food sorse. If its int open air it's more of a risk ter them frompt prediters. Next to a bush or tree gives em a betterer feelin of been sayf. Give it er bit more time and see ow it goes.

SWMBO put up another bird feeder at the end of the garding last week. Mostly being used by the goldfinches, and a family of green finches - the little ones get fed by the bigguns. I overseeded a patch of grass last weekend and put nets over it to keep the spuggies off. After it gets watered in the evening the blackbirds stand on the net to weigh it down and pick up all the bugs n pests which crawl out to escape the water, I don't mind that they nick a few seeds. But the bastid wood pigeons just walk over it and scoff the seeds .
