@DanClarke

Your a brave man to ride that on the road with all the dickhead car drivers, I feel vulnerable enough when I take my bike out and that’s visible and loud:D

Must take a bit of getting used to riding one?

Yes, you do feel a little vulnerable. I have had cars come towards me on my side of the road past lines of parked cars on their side and try the "I didn't see you there" line. This despite the vibrant colours and the Union flag 4 foot above the trike.
I ask them to back-up as a bike/trike has no reverse gears. ;)
This is a new trike type for me, it is called a Python Delta Trike. Delta because it is 1 wheel at the front and 2 at the back and "Python" because it has a bearing in the middle of the trike that allows it to "hinge" at that point and turn quite tightly.
This joint is off vertical at 63 degrees and it makes the trike self-centering as soon as you sit on it. It will always try to go straight, pushing/pulling on the pedals (left/Right) allows it to be steered hands free if you want to do so. That was the second time I have ridden it somewhere where I could try out the "handsfree" riding. Last time I made a mistake and crashed it into one of the bollards. :oops: Buckled the wheel.

My wife thinks I am stupid rather than brave. ;)

I noticed the other in your videos had 2 wheels on the front, which to me seems more stable. Not that I am about to even try and find out:). I was also amazed at the amount of “near misses” from the cars, which sort of cements my previous comment about some drivers.

This “brave/stupid” is a fine line. I prefer to say I am brave to ride a bike:D:D but have often found it was a stupid idea:oops:.

But it’s got to be good for riding to the gym:)
