My camera takes its feed from my auxiliary fuse board via a relay triggered from the live feed to the reverse lamp. No problems at all.

You want to buy some ferrite chokes and put them around wires for various circuits causing electrical noise

I was thinking about installing a camera, but was looking at the screens built into the rear view mirror, but if a larger device like you have fitted was able to perform other tasks (satnav, phone connectivity etc) I may be tempted by one of those.

Got a Chinese radio/screen/ tf card USB player/reverse camera from ebay for approx £30 was a lot better than expected and you can screen mirror most phones and use the sat nav (I did break this option when I accidentally pulled a fuse when car was running but that appears to be a software problem not physical damage)
Search 7010b 7012b or 7018b they all seem to be the same
