Does an ifor williams 90 pickup cover (pig pen style with swinging door) go straight onto the back of a 90 pickup or do you have to drill holes or anythign else first before you can mount it ?

going to collect one which has the bolts included and hoping to drive the 90 up and come back with it but its a bit of a drive away . hate to get there and find i cant drop it straight on

any help appreciated

On mine the bolts are like j's and hook under the capping on the top of the rear tub. So yes it bolts straight onto whats there. Hope this helps.

mine was the same.

make sure you hook the front end behind the guttery groove thing on the back of the cab.

Mine is the same. You should be able to fit it quickly and then sort out the bit that matters (where the ifor meets the cab) properly later, even so a lot easier job with two people to get it seated properly.
Top tip - get some pipe insulation for the bottom of the wire mesh grille and cable tie it on, then get some bungee cords, so when legal to do so you can drive with the grille up and leaning back on the top of the roof of the Ifor, the pipe insulation stops it sounding like a steel band whilst you`re moving and the bungees keep it reasonably secure.
I`d also make sure to ask the vendor if all the fixings are present before I set off - been caught before by sellers giving me a bag with "all the bits", not quite all though.

That is a real good tip re the pipe insulation will be doing that to mine.
keeps a cool wind blowing in the back< and means a bigger load can go in when needed...!!

Mine is one $ j bolts, but they were rusted to hell took lots of WD40 and a hammer< copper slipped them back on means they come undone in a trice

I have one but am in the market for a second one, not too worried if it is a bit knocked about, just need to be cheap
So if anyone has one kicking about..!!
