Hi all
It's been a while since i was last here and a lot has happened since, My Disco 1 finally moved on to better climates and was replaced with my Dads Hand me down Disco 2, unfortunately it developed a rust issue during covid and I couldn't obtain a welders services at the time so had to move it on to some-one who could sort it out. Since then had 2 regular zippy nippies a Pug 206 CC until a BMW drive decided it would be a great idea to put a dent in an unoccupied stationary vehicle into the side of it (RIP Pug 206 CC), then onto a Punto in it's final years which (wouldn't make its next MOT for love or money) as an unhappy turn of event's my dear old man (Landy & Harley Lover) fell victim to a nasty disease which stole him away and left me with his loved Landy 3 (I seem to be going up the ranges here!).
Anywho onto the problem at hand, it's basically a window fault where the rear right passengers window won't go back up (going down is fine), I have contacted my local JLR service center who advised me that it was the window regulator which I purchased from FCP Euro via the part number provided by JLR, they have replaced it and still the window will not close properly as it was put in to position 2-3 inches from closed and couldn't be forced up further. Electrics will still lower the window but not raise it up at all (all other windows are fine and operate normally). Any thoughts on what the issue might be?
