Well then, I popped my spare dizzy in and same results. You got me thinking about the ECU and wammers talking about the wiring. I have the adaptor wire for the three pin amp and I was checking the ECU wire is it was Idling so high on the revs. The wire seemed fine, but on looking in the plug I noticed the little clip that snips onto the lucar connectors was pushed all the way up and when I turned the dizzy it would lose contact. So after sorting that the engine bursts into life, but decent timing is still a bit off. The adaptor wire is cheap ass ****e and already falling to bits.
