just a thought, do you need any special licence for these or does a normal car one suffice as i can't drive bugger all on my licence other than me car and bike.

Possibility has come up to drive one weekend after next.

It's not for sale, but it's a friend of a friend, who is also pretty up on the idea of me getting one, so we shall see.

Would do a diesel conversion though, not really too fussed about V8s personally. I like them, admire them, love the sound etc, but I just prefer the black stuff.

Looks nice. You need to get one with the nokken still attached though. Think id like a soft top.

Get it LPG'd, how could you not want the V8 burble? There is a few diesel ones out there with perkins engines.

Just not for me tbh. I like V8s, infact I've been trying to convince the missus to get a one because she wants a 90. But I personally prefer diesels.

Look what I just bought .....

I was going to say what a **** head! lol. :p

The poor guy is trying hard to be discouraged from buying one and then some bar-steward comes along and posts a photo of one he just bought! :lol:

I'm holding any judgement until I've driven one next weekend ;)

Still keep thinking about it, obviously.....

But I bought THREE of them, though I sold one the next day (last Friday).

Don't want to be greedy . . .

I was talking about a woman! :doh::D:D
Ahhh .... I see.

I have two TD5 Discos, a lightweight, a 200tdi Disco needing a chassis job, a 101 Ambulance and a 101 truck GS 76FL66 the Tail End Charlie of the 1975 West-East Sahara desert crossing.

I would quite like a woman, but they seem to think there's too much competition.
