Hello,
I'm from Canada, and am looking at purchasing a 1996 Discovery, SE7. It has the 4.0 L v-8, with auto tranny. It has 307,000 kms on it. Considering the amount of kms on it, what issues might arise at this point in it's life? Also, I understand that it requires premium fuel. Is this true? I want to make sure I put the proper fuel into it. Also, is the body completly aluminium, or is it a combo of some alum parts and some steel? If so, which parts are which metal? Where I live, rust is a major concern with steel parts. Also, How are the frames? I know older series have galvanized frames. Is this true of the Discovery? Any info you can provide will help.
