The engines in and plumbed in, the new fuel lines are sorted throughout and it's nearly ready for mot. Just got to replace the fuel tank, bleed radiator and fuel system and done other odds and sods (I might even wash it lol). But I've got my first pic of it together...

And I should be ready for winter too!!! :) :)
 
I did think the algae might have been holding it together a bit lol.

Well I'm just off to brave the weather and wire in the glow plug timer.
 
It's your landy so you will do as you please, but IMO mud is one thing, but algae is another - it just looks unloved - which clearly isn't the case...

Well I spent a good bit of today freezing outside but I've nearly sorted/made a timed glow plug heating system using the disco bits that'll light up the choke light and I've also sorted out the air filter and all the turbo plumbing so I'm getting there!! :) :)
 
Just got the exhaust to fit and that should be it I'm hoping either Friday or Monday for Jock MoTing it.

I like your Bay window in the background.....have you purposefully gone down the rat look.?! :D
 
I'm desperate for bay, you have both you sod!!!

Don't fancy a PX with a fully restored tax exempt beetle do you.?! Lol :)
 
I just about gave away a splitty last month too sold it for £5500!! Sorry the bays been sold too (well swapped for 2 110's :) )
