Yep not every car comes with alaskan climate control
As mentioned on another thread there is moisture inside the cabin (damp carpets in footwell), Leaky heater matrix maybe. The membranes behind the door card might also be missing or punctured
Plus check the cabin air intake, Valance beneath windscreen has to be removed to remove intake housing.
I Love it cos the missus has it, and I'm in London tonite expecting to be snowed in by morning, with only 100 miles to drive home in a 200k+ miles Bimmer...... Still, at least it won't break down on me......
i had a mk5 as my first car when i was 17. white with tinted windows and those slat things on the rear window. thought it looked the dogs nuts at the time but looking back now i must have looked a right wa##ker.
good cars apart from the handling (ended up going backwards into a field once).- then found out they are crap off road
