I've had my series 3 for about 6 months now and have done all sorts of mechanical things to it that I didn't think I could possibly do.
4 days ago my mondeo TDCI developed some sort of fuelling problem, spookily at the same time as my Landy. (I was full of conspiracy theories etc.).
The mondeo is booked into Fords on Tuesday, requiring a computer hook up to diagnostics etc. and then probably a large bill.
The Landy took a phone call to my Bruv about symptoms, a bit of elbow grease and some cleaning and bugger all expenditure, (sticking float needle).
We're whizzing , (euphemistically), about the place in the 600 quid Landy 'cos it's working, whilst the very expensive mondeo sits on the drive doing bugger all.
