Hi folks. My rear damper has snapped/pulled out, again.

First time it pulled out I welded inside which you can see in the picture.

I have + 2 springs and 2 inch spacers. They are old man emu suspension and came of another car with all this suspension fitted, am I right in thinking it's from articulating over too much.

Cheers

Same as above.2 inch spring plus 2 inch blocks is 4 inch.so youd need +4 shocks minimum or terrifirma +5 to cope with articulation.

I'm not sure what they are. They came on the disco I bought of funky kipper, they seemed fine before. Only thing I can think of is the bump stops are still standard?

Thank you for the replies

Bump stops would help i spose.but bigger shocks may stop your problem.youve got buy new shock anyway so try some bigger ones.not much dearer than the ones you got on.and get zome bump stops and your problem should be sorted

I'm going to weld it mate. Good as new afterwards :)

Thank you for your help
