I even cannot recognize the words about the cars mechanism in my local language not speak of English. I am not expertise in it. I was forced to do this work by my superior, so sorry for disturbing u all here. I just want to know the modification of the car. He has a dicovery 2, 03my, and he has no ideas what he wants to do which makes me very confused. He just told me that he plans to rise the car body and changes the tires into a larger size so that the car will go better. Could u give me some more detailed advices about it such as how many inches is proper or which size of tires can match it? Additionally, I thank u for ur help before.

Now you have asked for something How big of tyres???????????? and 2"-6"suspension lift would be the way to go not a body lift. There is a translate to English option . How big of tyres does he want to use and where are you from??????. Give some details has to what type of terrain and driving conditions . and if you say muddy then you will want a winch and winch bumper for the front and possible the rear, along with diff lockers , snorkle hi lift jack,a % alive power chip to have more hp to help with larger tyres and extreme driving

Yes,it is the suspension system? Is that right? I am in Shanghai, China. He wants to use tyres size 265. He has bought the diff lock ready to install. What other things do we need now? Thank u for ur help.

Where does he intend to drive it? City streets to look cool or off road and play in the mud, and drive through rivers. If you can narrow it down a bit as to intended use. But 265 tyres will fit directly on with out a lift , if just for the streets then ok

According to his words is a little off-road but not extreme driving is ok.rivers, muds, sands, gravels and some little hills will be ok! Thanks

Hmmm, me too.

The first thing to check would be how much work is needed on the rear suspension. Lifting coil springs is comparatively easy compared with trying to lift the air suspension system on a late Disco 2.
