Certificate of Conformity

Hi first time poster

I live in the UK and bought a rust free 1990 Range Rover SE with a 3.9 petrol engine a couple of years ago but only recently managed to make the trek to Spain due to Corona. I brought it back on the ferry recently. I have it MOT'd, and i have paid the VAT (five percent as its more than 30 years old) and all i wanted to do was register it and get on with enjoying it. Now after paying the vat and receiving a letter conforming i was directed to form V55 'Application for First Vehicle Tax' which wants to know the type of information Land Rover will have been required to divulge when they went for type approval all those years ago and the form mentions taking the information from the Certificate of Conformity

Where to start - does anyone have any experience that they can advise me please.
Thanking you in advance

Regards Oscawhite

Find out where it was built. If In England it was exported & your just bringing it back. Why would they need the info then?;)
