Yeah the boot window went down with the switch but wouldn’t come back up :/ every wire to the plug had been cut and twist tied so swapped round the two blue ones tomanaged to get the window back up. Then put it all back together. Now when I open the boot the window comes all the way down. I assume the switch in the centre console is at fault and now the motor has lost its position in the ccm?(if that’s what’s it’s called)

We'll need a pic of the switches to know which one the blank is. Theres a list int owners manwell.
I have 4 by the handbrake, the rear door window switch was in top right, blanks over the others but a connector was in the top left one

To recalibrate the boot window disconnect the battery. When you reconnect it the window will go all the way down so that when you bring it back up it should remember the final stop position. After that it should drop a few mm every time you open the boot to let the door open, then go back up when you close the door. If it goes back up when you release the handle (with the boot door open) you have a faulty switch in the boot door lock.

thats the problem i initially had... my switch wouldnt put the windo back up. would go down but not up

the windo motor would bring it up but i had to swap over the two blue wires motor side so that it thought up was down and down was up etc

Try to recalibrate it. The window won't go up if it has got confused or it thinks the door is open. Is your interior light working correctly?
