Wasn't having a go or suggesting my landy is worth more than yours, it's just a shame that what we do to our motors should in theory increase the value but in reality makes them undesirable to 99% of the population.

My disco should be worth a grand if everything I've spent on it is taken into account. But although a clean, immaculate low mileage Discovery is worth £1500 I don't think mine would fetch much more than £750 if I stuck it on the Bay!

Hence being interested in what yours goes for, if it fetches decent money I'll definitely be reconsidering my opinion! As it is if I ever wanted to sell mine I think I'd make the most money breaking it for spares rather than trying to flog it as a complete off roader.

See, here's the difference

Yours is fairly standard so whoever is looking for a disco to commute, tow a caravan,etc...won't give you much money

On the other hand whoever looks for mine will be someone wanting an off roader just for fun and in that case they'll appreciate the extras and why they have been added, therefore making it worth a little more

No they didn't, they can't collect it this weekend.

Have emailed the 2nd bidder and another guy who made an offer, saying 1200 to get it out of my drive this weekend, I just want the damn thing gone!!!!!!!

And has 12 month MOT on it!!

If anyone from here wants it and can collect this weekend,1200 and it's yours
