Hi all like a complete idiot I drove my disco into a rather deep puddle and hydrolocked the engine. After dragging her out of the ditch I turned the engine over without the glow plugs in to get rid of the water. After which she started but very underpowered and chucking lots of white smoke out which smells like unburnt fuel. After driving home she seems to run better but she is still missing slightly and blowing quite a lot of white smoke with a slight knock when under load (sounds and smells like the timing is slightly out)Before I start to take the head off and spend lots of money does anyone have any suggestions of what it could be or would it just be better to replace the engine altogether? Which I don't really want to do as she only has 115000 on the clock
