at last the voice of reason this land is sheep hill and the woodland looks like old tax break planting
mind you if i want the land ill need to sell the cottage

any one know if say 30 acres could make any money with sheep they seem quite easy to grow:confused:

Not far out, prices have gone up loads recently and good agricultural land will get up to 6 though standard grazing and rough land is closer to 4, if it's suitable for horsey types then up to 10 depending on location (proximity to roads, houses etc), if it's in a location where gardens could extend into it then more and as for development land, central truro is about 3 million an acre. Not really known anything reasonable to go for less than 5 lately.
 
i ve just aquired a plot of land just enough to build 2 3 bed houses on ive been offered 100.000 pound just for the site

i know hes keen for a private sale on the land
ive built houses in the area and theres know way id get to develope it without a public enquiry
although has semi derilict cottage,stone barn and cattle brye that i probably could develop within reason to recoup some of the outlay
 
also it depends on what part of the country you are im in somerset sw england were prices are quite high
 
its in scottish borders within 45 mins of edinburgh house prices are high but im wanting to move from city centre and will get top dollar where i am so can go for somthing a bit bigger with some land
