If the the potentiometer has failed nanocom wont move it. Well wouldn't on mine, just tries to move the other blend motor. Read somewhere it was a gremlin in the nanocom software.
I read something similar, mixes up the wrong side motor or something, bit like the abs sensors.

Sometimes the little leg solder points on the pots can become cracked where they enter into the circuit board. Resoldering can sometimes cure this. They are quite fragile really but have lasted this long I suppose. 🤔

One motor I bought second hand off the bay wouldn't work when fitted. The potentiometer wasn't even there:(
