HT leads can break down and lose their performance over time.
Buy the best quality ones you can for the best performance.
For my V8 Disco I buy either Bosch or LR genuine leads.
I have no experience of the really expensive leads but I guess that it's a case of you get what you pay for.
If your 4.6 is LPG converted you must ensure that you get the best quality spark possible, LPG is less tolerant of a poor spark than petrol is.
If you are unsure about the condition of your HT leads, then perhaps it is best to just change them anyway.
What makes you think they might need changing?
HTH.

You ought to try the Bosch Super4 plugs then - best I've ever fitted, especially with LPG.

Hi and thank you all for your recommendations. I will follow them through. Just one thing for Boomer V8 my ranger is not run on gas its petrol only, but your advice is appreciated thank.
