Hi all,

Here are 2 range Rover L322
Both are V8 diesel
How to know which is the newer, just by styling?

depends if past owner(s) have changed any body parts. VIN is best way, and any decent seller should tell you at least the serial number part of it.

OK guys, thanks for the replies.

So really, there isn't a sure fire way of just looking at the front end, and saying that that's a early 2006, or a late 2007 or whatever. ?

I actually do know the reg, and the year of the two I posted, as I cleaned out the registration plates, but I was more looking for a good visual i.d. definition.
Seems not, or is quite vague ?

The lower one is more recent going by the wider banding down the sides of the windscreen and grill.

Actually, I'm wrong, at first glance top one looks like the pretend v2 lights with 'fake' grille. On closer look both are v2. Unless you are an absolute RR geek and get up close and personal with the 2006 or 2007, you wont 'see' a difference , as only differences are on the interior or mechanics.
If you really want to know about all the different versions, there are loads of sites , you can search on, about the tiniest differences.
If you're just worried if the neighbours will know you bought a 2006 and not a 2007, only the plate will tell them ;)
