When friends return from holidays in the USA I am often given magazines about pick ups and the accessory choice is awesome. The range of pick up top rail protectors alone would fill a magazine.
I've been thinking for years how to protect the top rails of my 110 pick up and the tailgate top rail.
I don't often have flashes of inspiration but I did last night. I had a new garage door last year and I left the "in transit" plastic protector in place.
I removed it last night and the protector, a 5.5cm x 2cm blacK plastic "U" channel fits perfectly.
Here's the u channel :
It would be even more useful if it didn't have the inner ridge or inner lip.
Has anybody got any idea where I can buy some more of this plastic channel. The topside showing is ridged and looks ok.
Any ideas everybody?
