Yip, good paint thickness, acceptable finish you int gunna get all precious about & easy to re-touch if you scratch it.
 
nah am sure folks with spray stuff still reckoned the roller was the way to go.. if i could be arsed i'd do a search and verify but i can't so i wont

after 2 days of prepping the hood/bonnet time for the paint, for this job i used hammerite satin black as the rest of the landy will be re-sprayed at some point in the same color.
check out the reflection from the ceiling

Can't tell stuff all frum the pic to be fair. Mine looks well painted in pics, frum far enuff away. ;)

I like the way he's sprayed the bonnet black an the rest in that invisible NATO paint. S'clever that so he can find his car.
 
its still shiny an hour after :cool:
i'll be putting it back on tomorrow, just leaving it to dry overnight
 
i wanna know why he spent so long rubbing it down just to throw drain pipe paint on it?

fairey snuff hammerites good stuff but if your going to spend all that time getting it preped then why not use the proper paint

maybe i'm just being fussy cos i prefere the roller :D
