Not the in ditch suggestions please, but suspension normal or down battery negative on/off? RF has been disconnected and will be left in friends drive whilst I am away.

Thanks in advance.

It really depends on your particular car and, perhaps, if you have electrical gremlins. Having read about battery drain, etc, etc, etc, I was expecting the worst in the early days when I left my car for just a few days. Now I confidently leave my 1997 petrol for two weeks at a time, and recently left it parked-up for five weeks. Lovely baby hasn't let me down yet!

Re your specific question about suspension - I'd leave it normal. It will probably be down somewhat by the date of your return, but at least it will have had fun getting there.

You can get these solar chargers to keep the battery toped up.other than that should be fine just might needs a few minutes to refill the eas tank when you start it before the suspention rises.

If you are worried, get a solar charger. Mine will sit for 2 to 3 weeks no problem but if I leaving away from home, at the airport for example, I plug in a solar panel to be sure.
a lot will depend on the size and quality of your battery.

Well have left car with friend, suspension on low and thats about it, will risk battery did not want trouble of trickle chargers and if I had thought about it could have done the solar panel thing, which seems a good idea to me as the poor battery on my car gets a hard time with so many short runs.

Cheers.

Pat it on the bonnet, wink as you walk away and tell it you will bring it back a present.

They are not just mechanical you know, they have feelings.
