Hello every one.
I have a D1 300tdi,auto. ABS, Air cond. ( belt off). deCat, no EGR.
I never bother about MPG, for £20 I do 55 miles. But after fuel pump set up, well something went wrong because right now Im doing about 35miles per £20.
Do u have any idea how to set up pump to factory seting or any garage near Wigan, where I can do that in proper way ?

I have to add that I fly on motorway 90miles/h without problem:violent:, there is no problem with power. just fuel compsumption.

If you want to do 90mph and get good mpg go buy a fcuking blue motion polo or blue efficiency merc you ####wit…………

Asking how to improve mpg whilst doing 90 in a brick shaped brick is just retarded

If it was £20 to do 35 in town that's different but at 90……...

Not at 90 I've done 90 in mine and as you go along at that speed you can just watch your fuel gauge drop


If it is round town though I rescind my previous comment and go with this instead Introduce Yourself - Land Rover Zone

Heh .. I just wont to let u know, that there is no problem with power, I mostly drive around town, and doing 55miles for £ 20, and after ingeration fuel pump (have to do it wrong) its doing 35miles for £ 20 Anyway I would like to back to factory seting for best fuel economy, and looking for some help, or any good garage to do that. I drove it like that for two years now, and when my friend bought 300tdi for himself he said to me that he doing about 30mpg? with its not possible for me .. so thats why I set my fuel pump ...

Search the disco forum for a thread on fuel pump tweaking and do the reverse then

Cant remember what its called but a search will bring it up

Leak as freelaner says then, blocked air filter causing inefficient burn, timing out on pump?

There's no precise way to reverse the process as it's a combination of 3 interlinked adjustments but you should be able to get close.

No leaks, air filter changed 3K miles ago, maybe timing on pump when mechanic change my timing belt ?

have to add that after that timing belt change it s a bit louder ... anyway have to find someone who can set it up.

timing belt would be suspect then if its louder and using more fuel, get them to put a light on it and check

Well, if you think that because of timing, so have to go back to that nechanic. But would like to go to someone who have LR knowlege in one finger. Does any one here know that garage ? Dont wont to go with my Landy to some buther ...
