Hopefully going to look at a stage one landy later today/tomorrow and I have been told it's got salisbury axles on it. How do they differ from standard

round rover diff, Salisbury has squarer casing on rear

Salisbury is fooking huge. and std diffs are round. if it's a stage one rear diff will deffo be salisbury. fornt is usually std rover diff. though there are a few landies with front Salisbury axles.

have a look around on the internet for said axles then print a picture off and take it with you so you know what to look for

ftc1740 £20 ish drum stub axles are different

if you have 110 or 109 it will be a salisbury rear

Found one ta buddy just got to get a td5front diff now well I think it's the diff as when driving it sounded like the gearbox went but found out it was not the gearbox as was from the front axle it has the detroit tru trak in it so don't know wots gone wrong took the prop of and running in rwd at the mo and it don't make any noise
