Hopefully going to look at a stage one landy later today/tomorrow:D and I have been told it's got salisbury axles on it. How do they differ from standard:confused:
 
round rover diff, Salisbury has squarer casing on rear
 
Salisbury is fooking huge. and std diffs are round. if it's a stage one rear diff will deffo be salisbury. fornt is usually std rover diff. though there are a few landies with front Salisbury axles.
 
have a look around on the internet for said axles then print a picture off and take it with you so you know what to look for

Found one :) ta buddy just got to get a td5front diff now :confused: well I think it's the diff as when driving it sounded like the gearbox went but found out it was not the gearbox as was from the front axle :confused: it has the detroit tru trak in it so don't know wots gone wrong :confused: took the prop of and running in rwd at the mo :eek: and it don't make any noise:confused:
Ohh yeah when it did go it was like I had no drive ? :doh:
