I thought I read somewhere the P38 alarm has a backup battery, so if a crook tries to pull the main battery the alarm can still sound off. I might be confusing with P38 with something else, but I'm sure the manual mentions a backup battery.

Yup, Bbus with back up battery or Klaxon without:)
 
Doh, Keith got in there first...serves me right for making a cup of coffee half way through typing ...!!
 
Mine is the posh one with the BBUS. Will run for about 4.5 minutes on it's little ownsome if you disconnect it or battery wrong way. Ear defenders are a must. :D:D
