I know they are not built for speed i just feel lacking power on certain inclines on and off road where my friends 200tdi tackles fine in high box! :S
 
You're not gonna get an old n/a diesel engine to perform like a tdi so just put a tdi in it and stop moanin.
 
Yep...you can tweak fuel pump a bit but tbh you'll get maybe 2mph more and risk buggering it or using more diesel...bite the bullet, like me, and get the 200tdi...more grunt and better economy....
 
  • Fit a NOS kit
  • Remove bodywork, weld seat to chassis
  • Fit engine to go cart...wait that may not work
  • Stick a TDi in it
 
200 tdi it is then! the 2.5 in it atm only has 93'000 on it so ill rack a few more miles onto it 1st! would the 2.5 be worth much?
