there is a tow bar fitted to my 2002 sport, how easy would it be to take off and where would be the best place to advertise it for sale/swap etc.

i dont want this to sound or look like a "cheap" advert, but i dont intend to use it?

Shock, Horror a sport with a tow bar-does dell boy know your selling it?

They're a bit awkward to take off by yourself. About 8 bolts and the electrics, try it on ebay.

I'll start the bidding twix, can of coke and a novelty toy

Pint of Guinness and bag of chips.

kin hell out bid, how about a pair of used and washed with fabric softener ladies underwear-a mars bar and a rip off copy of maryanne faithful?

6 bolts underneath and electric plug to disconnect behind driverside boot panel , Not a hard job but is heavy !
But my personal view is it's a rear end protection feature :bump2:

i cant take anymore of you generous offers, im away for a lie down with a dark chocky digestive

if there is anyone close to me and knows of anyone who needs one etc etc

even if i am not going to tow i have a tow bar on as said rear protection but if you ever have a rear ender then the tow bar must be changed

Keep yer tow-bar on the car, mate.

Very useful for Defender rescuing and Range-Rovers, and Discoverys what have got stuck, and don't how to operate their drive-line options. :D

Or those who still have their high-speed summer tyres on.
