Hi all

I have a 2004 Range Rover. It has the non touchscreen system with DSP (the BMW system).

I have been looking everywhere for a bluetooth system which I can add to this system but a lot suppliers it's not possible with the DSP.

Has anyone fitted something like a parrot Bluetooth system to their rangey?

Anyone suggestions on fitters or instructions on how to would be great

Thanks in advance

you could always buy the retrofit kit, i've looked at all the parrot adaptors and they all say not for RR with navigation & dsp although i have seen l322's with nav and a parrot kit fitted

Yea, I know of a few with kits fitted

Mine used to have a parrot Kit fitted until I ripped it out when I changed my stereo
Although mine has the non DSP amp system

the bm54 bluetooth mod is primarily for streaming music through the enabled aux in, fine if you have the audio running off aux in whenever you drive it, i would expect for calls it would run the audio through the speakers and rely on the phones own mic.

as for the parrot kits they work by routing audio to front speakers only and cutting off rear speakers and there lies the problem with the dsp amp fitted, the bm54 only outputs 2 channels of audio to the dsp amp so as long as it is the front outputs that are used to send signal it should work but phone audio would be over all the cars speakers.

When I bought mine in September, it was advertised as having some sort of Parrot system in. It looks the part but i'll be buggered if I can get the thing to work!

There's two iphone connectors under the armrest, I mic thingy in the roof and a dinky connector stuck in front of the gear lever with two buttons on. I think the only connection it has to a Parrot is pirate related as you need to rob and steal to keep the dang thing on the road :)

i have seen a lot of range rover fitted with a parrot kit

but all the suppliers/fitter i go to say it cant be done.

any suggestions for fitter anyone?

i live in essex london area

I have a Parrot CK3000 Evolution fitted which is good enough although there is a separate Nokia speaker on cable under the seat. It still mutes the audio in main speakers still.

Got the CK3000 which was fitted in my 2004 L322 vogue, when I bought the car last month.
I poped the Code 1234 into my iPhone and it worked OK.
But he'll it's loud!
Anyone have any instructions on this thing as can't find a way to turn the thing down none of the normal volume controls seem to have any effect with on the phone or the car.
On the plus side people can't believe that I am using hands free as the sound quality is so good.

no, 2005 on LR was owned by ford not bmw, so all the incar entertainment items were changed. i think i saw a post somewhere that someone did upgrade the entertainment system but you have to change everything
