I've got a 2000 4.0 P38 and live about 1 mile withing the new ULEZ boundary 2023.
I really don't want to sell this car but I also can't justify £12.50+ every time I drive it.
I've read that a few cars built after the year 2000 just happen to be Euro 4 compliant.
My P38 would have been Euro 2 or 3. Not sure which, but I thought it would be worth checking what the factory emissions data is just in case it's magically Euro 4 compliant. Unlikely but may as well try and find out.
I believe ULEZ only cares about NOx.
Being fairly low compression compared to modern engines, NOx should be naturally low.
The euro 4 requirements are:
CO – 1.0 g/km
HC – 0.10 g/km
NOx – 0.08
PM – no limit
