Hi All,

I want to inspect the red plug at the ECU but daren’t touch the battery as I don’t have a radio code...!

I don’t want to fiddle around too much, but the radio isn’t very user friendly.

Can this even be done, or do I definitely need the code, end of?

You don't need to disconnect the battery.

Would be useful to know, would quite like to clean and lube the battery terminals.

If it's the original unit, Land Rover might have those security details on their database, along with the EKA code.
It's worth a try. Just get along to a Main Dealer and take with you the V5.
