The tip of the key has snapped off in the ignition barrel.
I have removed console, taken electrics of back of steering column lock and prized base of steering column lock off, so the steering wheel is free, but even with fob and broken key in barrel, turning the electrical end of ignition barrel will not start disco.
SO I really have to get the tip of the key out (I have a spare key).
I have inserted the broken key with a dob of Sikaflex on to see if it will draw out broken bit (fat chance).
Any other method?
Tweezers didn't work.
Even if I can remove the ignition barrel (remember they are bolted on with shear off nuts) will that help remove the key tip?
Cheers if you know a trick or two.
