Are v6 engines /transmissions noisy? mine appears to make a noise whilst driving. This is my first auto so not sure if it is just that.

The noise is hard to explain but kind of sounds like a f1 car. it is a constant noise once you are moving .

they're normally very quiet when the engine dies from HGF.

Surely that is not the case here?

no whitey gunk when inspecting car etc no leaking fluid

that dont mean jack with KV6's - does it sound like a rattly noise from the engine compartment - in which case its VIS valves.
or is it the water header tank bubbling away?

it is def not a bubbling or rattle noise. More of a whine. Maybe i am being daft and the noise is supposed to be there. without that noise tho my v6 would be silent from inside (unless putting my foot down of course and getting the little roar)

Noise is def coming from engine compartment but only occurs when moving
