Hi All

My defender is new to me and I am intrested in finding out its age, It is a 110 Defender TD5 SW, the log book shows first reged in 2002 and the reg plate is a W, i know this landy is older then 2002 as the last owner said it had been aboard before that. the chassis digit that shows the year is a Y

Can any one shed some light to which year this landy was made

yes that site does come up with error, but i then searched vin numbers on goggle and found it that way if i had not been directed to that site i would not have thougt of goggle

got the answer i was looking for thanks again

the chassis has the date it was made underneath by the gearbox
mine says jan 89
