i am enjoying series 3 ownership but a new business venture means i wont have much time for it in the next few months, i will be gettin another in the future though!
basically it is a mot'd vehicle. it has light accident damage from my notorious maiden off road voyage! these amount to the need for a new drivers door bottom, poss just skin, and a new wing at worst, the wing just wants something doin to it, i dont know what cos it is not badly dented or anything but it bulges out a little bit. will try to upload some photos to show you what i mean.

apart from that she is in good nick, gearbox leaks and is noisy, wants a strip down really i spose though it drives fine and selects gears well, and it doesnt jump out of gear either.

the engine is a 2.25 diesel and at the moment smokes on account of the aforementioned voyage, (unfortunately dont know how to post a link to that thread but it is in here somewhere!)

there is not really any rust on her, she is a swb hard top, good rear door.
the usual bumps and a couple of scrapes are present but you knew that anyway;)

i want this v8 rrc that my mate has got, has no mot but that dont matter as i have a biiiig trailer at my disposal now, the rrc is also in good nick
but does need sills for an mot, the rrc is good and ready to go offroadin now so it probably will become a workin project as i have shown my mate some comp safari and he is now keen to bobtail the rrc and sort that out so i thought why not let him do it for me:D

how easy do you think it will be sell and how much do these kind of vehicles usually go for?
i realise that the lack of tax will put people off along with the noisy gearbox but i really do think this beauty would make someone an excellent original example with very little work.

i know its hard to say without a photo or two ( i will try to get yall some) but is there any ballpark figure bearing in mind that it is mot for about 9 months and could be run ok with just the tax?

as you can see, the only real damage is to the drivers door. and the only bit of rust is the window frame i have just seen what is making the wing bulge and it has a bar holding it in line, i will put that back on!
any ideas guys?

aye bout that. i reckon anywhere between 500 and 1000 quid.

an mot,ed landy must be worth at least 500 quid to anybody.

cool, cheers guys, looks like i got a good buy then, i didnt pay a lot for it and it was, to be fair, in better condition then, i did all the damage to it!
dont wanna sell her but i think that i am going to have to :(
i appreciate all your input guys, keep it comin!
