-sell quickly
-sell slowly
-sell at all..
 
Price guides are a waste of time. They are invariably out of date almost immediately. The trade get a new valuation book every month!

Best thing to do is to look what similar vehicles in the surrounding area are going for / have gone for. If you look on ebay and click the "advanced" tab (top right) you can check a box that says "completed listings" so you can see what things have sold for over the last 2 weeks.
Not a fat lot of use at the moment given the whole bloody country shuts down for Christmas, but it'll be useful the rest of the year.
