Need help guys, finances are tight at present, so it breaks my heart to do it, but i am going to put my range rover on ebay/ Autotrader.

It is a 1995 P38 2.5 dtse, in calypso green with grey leather interior. Has done 136000, bodywork in good condition, front tyres done 4000 miles, rear tyres only done 1000 miles. Taxed and tested til september, only problem is the low range box wont engage. Mechanic says it is probably wiring fault, but havent had it done....never needed it to be honest.

Would appreciate any opinions on what it is worth????

if its an easy fix to the transfer box then fix it if you can as then there will be no haggling point.!!!

put a reserve on ebay for 2.5k. remembering there will be a final sale commission to them. state clearly cash on collection, dont accept paypal, or thiefpal as i call it.
try to get the fault done or just be honest and list it as a known fault.
take 12 good pictures and spend a bit of time detailing the car. it might just surprise you how much it will make on there.

sounds good so far. Was just hoovering the carpets and noticed under the front passenger seat a large wiring loom which doesnt seem to be attached to anything.

There are about 20 or so various wires, bound together, leading into a black rectangular connector plug. The wires disappear down under the centre console. I know that there are some air suspension controls under this seat, but dont think this is related to it. Suspension is in perfect working order.

Could this be related to my transfer box problem???

I just got a 1998 P38 for 3.5k and its quite mint. Only thing wrong is one scratch on the nearside back door and the tyres will need replaced within the next couple of months. Only had 75k on the clock with full service history too.

It really depends on what you want to sell it for, and who gives you an offer close to it.

no, just basic seats, although there are two small cables with white connector blocks hanging from the underside of the seat.
