Got a P38 someone offering me really chap but has gearbox problems and guy reckons at worst needs new gearbox as in a second hand replacing one thats in it.


Any ideas. I really like this car but don'e wanna end up with a lemon

all p38's are lemons-I owned one.
may be filter and oil change required, what specifically is it doing. if you post symptoms others can advise

no such thing as a cheap p38 . if its that cheap , only as long as its got history

How much is really cheap? what p38 is it? what condition is it in? p38's are cheap now anyways maybe be better to find a better p38

recon box inc new torque converter inc fitting + 12 months warranty aprox £950.00 if you pay more-there just making money on fitting...
thats what i was quoted....the recon box's are all around the same price on just a supply basis so they make money on fitting...
