thats good to know that it aint that difficult, my alloys are fine but at least i know if they get kerbed it wont be too difficult to sort them out
Kerbed? I didn't know they made kerbs big enough to 'kerb' a Land Rover, I usually just drive right over them without noticing :D

A set of 18" comets would suit her down to the ground!

Nice Disco BTW

Thanks Henry,

I do like the wheels on her now although those comets in the photo you posted of the silver Disco do look very nice !!

Nice RR, I was looking at p38's a while ago but went for the d2 td5 with the thought that it would be cheaper to run/maintain. I really would love a nice V8 though in Burgundy, oh and one in gun metal grey also :D

Range Rovers are an addiction!! ;)

£7.5k but a few years ago when worth that.

Found out after I bought it it has an expensive aftermarket option

£14,200 for a 2005 Defender 90 TD5 County SW in 2010 with 39,000 miles. She needed a new AMC cylinder head at around 60,000 miles due to the porosity problem, but nothing else apart from regular maintenance, brakes etc.

Got mine in 2016 as a project , 2006 D3 TDV6 auto , 99,000 miles , 7 x seats , paid 2k and spent another 2k

Like many of us , lost count with the amount of time and effort into getting it in good working order , had to virtually tear the thing apart to sort out previous bodges

My favourite landy so far ,:D

£7k for my '97 Disco in 2000ish, absolutely mint .. ;)

This was how it ended up .. me trying to revive and recover it 3 days later when the water had subsided by 3 or 4 foot!.

And roughly how it is now .. it's metamorphosing all the time as finances/time/inclination fits .. currently has a different bumper and winch on the front and has just passed it's MOT today ... ;)
